This is my version of the sketch for the February 2012 Challenge at
Sketches with a Twist - the twist was to use green somewhere (the owl on top is green!) I was so excited to use my Scrabble-like paper for the background along with the alphabet paper at the bottom. The owls were from some open stock patterned paper at Hobby Lobby. I cut them out and added them to toothpicks.
HI there, oh how lovely this is! i love the papers you have used as they remind me of words and reading! great photos and memory you have scrapped beautifully!! Thanks for joining in at Sketches with a Twist!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, I love the papers you used, thanks for playing along with us at SWAT!
ReplyDeleteKatie I just love your take on the sketch this month and how well matched your papers are to the theme of your photos/ layout. The wise owl in place of the flags and your bright and fun banner are fabulous. Thanks so much for joining us at Sketches with a Twist.
