Saying "Thank You" Without Stamping

This thank you card was based on a sketch for Mojo Monday's #318 Challenge.  I started the card with stamping in mind but ended up not stamping at all --- a rare thing for me.  Here are some supplies I used:

- Stampin' Up Beautiful Wings Embosslits die
- My Mind's Eye Lost & Found 6x6 Paper Pack - Madison Avenue
- "Thank You" Rub-on - The Paper Studio
- Pink Gems - The Paper Studio
- Square Die Cut - Heidi Grace Daydream Collection
- Embossing Folder -Quickutz

The Mojo Monday #318 Sketch was this:

It was fun participating in this challenge - even if I didn't stamp anything!

Friends till the End card - The Pink Elephant #134

Happy Birthday, Ella!

It is Ella's 3rd Birthday at The Pink Elephant! In honor of the pink mascot, all you had to do for the challenge this week was add some pink to your card. Easy enough! I decided to use the new heart scribble stamp from Stampabilites I got at Hobby Lobby on this card. I stamped it in white all over black cardstock. I then added some pretty paper from the Lost & Found Collection by My Mind's Eye and a pink "Don't Forget" sentiment stamped from cardstock from the Daily Junque kit. I also added a "Friends Till the End" rub-on and my fave black & white ribbon from American Crafts.

"Just For You" Bunny Card - Deconstructed Sketch #35

Oh No.... I think I am addicted to the Deconstructed Sketches by Jen! I found another sketch #35 that was posted on January 19th, 2012. For this one, I made a super cute bunny "Just for You" card. This card could you be used for a variety of occasions. I used the Fine & Dandy paper stack from My Mind's Eye along with a a yellow pattern from the Itsy Bitsy Boy stack from K&Company. The bunny is from a chipboard collection by Cosmo Cricket. I added some cute yellow twine and stamped "Just for You" from $1 stamp from Michael's.

Sports Boy Birthday Card - TPE Challenge #133

Hi Everyone - Happy Monday! I found a fun new site called The Pink Elephant and decided to try out there challenge for today. Challenge #133 is to make a card using 1 image, 2 patterned papers, and 3 buttons. This card I made is for my nephew, Nicholas, who's birthday is in a couple weeks. I started out using the basketball image from the Recollections "Toy Box" paper. I also used the multi-stripe paper and red paper from the "A Boy's World" page kit by the Paper Studio. The brown grid cardstock is from My Mind's Eye. Once I added all the layers, I had cut a little tag and used a happy birthday rub-on from American Crafts "Celebrations" mini-marks. The hardest part was to find out where to have the 3 buttons. I found some tiny yellow ones & added to the bottom. I finished the card off with a white chipboard "7" layered on blue cardstock and added some Ranger Glossy Accents to the basketball and chipboard.

Anniversary Card using "Fine and Dandy" True Blue paper pack from My Mind's Eye

I made this card for my in-law's anniversary. It's hard to tell but the blue paper is textured in stripes. I used the "Fine and Dandy" True Blue 6x6 paper pad from My Mind's Eye for the the punched circles and layers under the sentiment. I punched the circles using a 7/8" circle punch. I then folded them in half and glued them between the yellow twine from the Lime Twist line of My Mind's Eye. The inspiration for this card was from maryrose on Splitcoaststampers.
